UNC Tar Heel Trauma is proud to present the 30th Annual May Day Trauma Conference on May 1-2, 2019 at the Friday Center in beautiful Chapel Hill, NC. May Day is a two-day conference carefully designed to meet the educational needs of the health care team across the continuum of trauma care.
The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is a 16-hour course developed by the Emergency Nurses Association to present a firm foundation in trauma nursing and to provide nurses with core or basic trauma cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills that are associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. On the other hand, the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) provides a standardized body of pediatric emergency nursing knowledge to improve the care of pediatric patients. It provides early intervention and expert care for patients from birth to adolescence.
